Facilities of the hot spring building

The building is a replica of Kusakabe Heritage House, which was built using the traditional Machiya-zukuri method and is designated as an important cultural treasure in Hida Takayama. The main feature of the building is its beam structure, which was built using a traditional method that doesn’t use nails. The total floor space is about 1,000 m2 and the traditional Japanese bath, with its 12 meter-high ceiling and more than 100 tsubo (1 tsubo is about 3.3 m2) of floor space, is the largest in Japan.
Zelkova, Japanese cypress and pine wood are used in the bath. The main pillar is a Japanese zelkova tree with a diameter of 60 cm that was reportedly more than 200 years old.

*The bedrock bath and body cleansing require reservations and extra charges.
*Babies who are not toilet trained can only use the baby baths.

Use guide

Checkin

1. "Those who stay limited hot spring entrance ticket" received in the check-in in the hotel reception desk is presented in the reception desk in the hot spring.
2. The bag (bath towel, face towel, and Samue) in the locker key and the pavilion is received.
3. The locker of the number displayed in the locker key is opened in the locker room, and clothes is changed to Samue.
4. It moves with the bag in the pavilion and the locker key.
   ※It doesn't put it from the locker room in the reception desk lobby to the bathing building.

Checkout

Please return the key and in-house bag that you received at the entrance to the front desk.

Note

• Any fees charged for fee-based facility use are settled using the bar code attached to the locker keys. Please be sure your belongings and valuables are stored in the safety box or the lockers in the changing room.
• Please check out at the front desk after using the fee-based facilities. If you would like to pay at the same time as the accommodation fee, please let the front desk know.
• Please do not lose the locker key. If you lose the key, we will ask you to pay for a new key.
